Our celebrants are authorised by the Registrar General for Scotland to conduct civil partnership registrations and ceremonies. A civil partnership is a legal partnership entered into by the signing of the Civil Partnership Schedule. Couples can opt for a straight-forward registration where the Civil Partnership Schedule is signed in the presence of their two witnesses and celebrant or they may choose to have a civil partnership ceremony with guests. A civil partnership ceremony can include various ceremonial elements such as vows, exchange of rings, handfasting and readings.
As former registrars with many years of experience and expertise, our celebrants will support and work with you to create the unique and memorable day you deserve. They can, if desired assist you with your legal paperwork as we understand how stressful it can be when arranging one of the most important days in your life.
We only conduct legal civil partnerships authorised by the Registrar General for Scotland in accordance with the Civil Partnership (Scotland) Act 2020* and related statutes.
