Hello, my name is Michelle and I am an Alba Celebrant.
I am a former Registrar and I am Qualified in the Law and Practice of Registration. I have conducted hundreds of weddings and a variety of other ceremonies from baby namings to renewal of vows to celebration of life ceremonies and funerals..
I have an Honours Degree in English Literature and also hold qualifications in the Humanities and Creative Writing. I have a keen interest in fiction and poetry, having had a selection of my own work published – a useful skill when creating my ceremony scripts.
My interests include charitable causes and community events, creative writing, reading, art, comic books, history, films and music.
I live in Saltcoats, Ayrshire with my husband Graham and our dog Mya who sometimes acts as Team Alba’s mascot (when she feels like it).
